Nine new professional skills videos released - 'A Trusted Profession'

Open-access content Thursday 3rd October 2019 — updated 5.50pm, Wednesday 29th April 2020

The IFoA has just published a new suite of professional skills videos and supporting materials in order to help you meet your Stage 3 Professional Skills Training (PST) requirements, as set out in the CPD Scheme 2019-2020.

The IFoA has just published a new suite of professional skills videos and supporting materials in order to help you meet your Stage 3 Professional Skills Training (PST) requirements, as set out in the CPD Scheme 2019-2020.

You can access the Professional Skills Online resources on the IFoA website (www.actuaries.org.uk).

There are nine new video case studies (which you can view in subtitled versions), each with accompanying videos in which actuaries discuss the issues raised within the case study.  A toolkit with comprehensive resources and downloadable links to the videos is available from the professional skills team at [email protected]

The dates for PST events using the new video case studies have been published - we encourage you to book your place early.

The IFoA has observed an increasing trend of 'no shows' at these events, while other members are contacting us saying they are unable to book. At times, events have been run at just 50% capacity, despite being fully booked. If you book an event and are unable to attend on the night, please do let the events team know as soon as possible, as failure to do so will prevent any members on the waiting list from being able to take your place.
