Be prepared for CPD monitoring

Open-access content Monday 4th February 2019 — updated 5.50pm, Wednesday 29th April 2020

If selected, you will be asked to provide written evidence of your participation in the CPD activities that you have recorded to meet your minimum requirements.

The random sample will include:

  • Category 2 Fellows and Associates
  • Category 2 Fellows and Associates who are working overseas and are affiliated to another IAA body for CPD purposes
  • Category 3 Partially regulated Fellows and Associates
  • Category 4 Certified Actuarial Analysts (CAA)
  • Category 5 Student members who were required to complete Stage 3 of the PST in the 2017/2018 CPD reporting year.

If selected, you will be asked to provide written evidence of your participation in the CPD activities that you have recorded to meet your minimum requirements. If you have recorded more than your minimum hours, you will not be expected to produce evidence for more than the required minimum.

Some examples of acceptable evidence can be found on our CPD FAQs.

If you have any questions about the monitoring process or acceptable forms of evidence, the membership team would be very happy to hear from you. You can contact them at [email protected]
