SAI student society: Testing times

The Society of Actuaries in Ireland’s Student Society Annual Quiz took place in June at Dicey’s, Harcourt Street.

It has been the society's most popular event in recent years, and this year was no different,  with more than 110 students taking part in 28 teams.

Students put their knowledge to the test across eight rounds, and there was no shortage of competition.  At the end of each round, students were invited up to challenge for spot prizes of chocolate, wine and vouchers, with challenges including a game of Family Fortunes and 'The Cube'. All eyes were firmly on the main prize, however; our winners walked away with One4All vouchers and the bragging rights. 

Drink tokens were provided on entry and finger food platters went down a storm, as the competition worked up an appetite. We would like to thank Acumen for sponsoring all prizes on the night. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for upcoming events!
