The Bristol Actuarial Society was delighted to hold its first ever Ball on 8 June.

It was hosted at We The Curious in Bristol - one of the UK's biggest and most interactive science museums. As part of the evening, around 100 guests enjoyed a fantastic planetarium show, where they were transported across the galaxy via 3D glasses and reclining chairs.
In what must have been one of her more memorable speeches, Marjorie Ngwenya talked to guests about the future of the profession, the important role regional societies play in it, and her year as president - while appearing to fly through space as stars flashed behind her! Dinner was enjoyed by all and dancing went on late into the night.
