This month I will be setting off on an adventure of a lifetime (again).
As many of you may know, I've visited Adara Development's project site at Kiwoko Hospital, Uganda, not once, not twice, but three times since 2012. So this time I'm heading to Nepal to learn about and experience some of Adara's other projects there. And I've found a new way to challenge myself to raise funds for Adara.
Swapping my running shoes for hiking boots, I will be joining a small band of intrepid adventurers to trek across Nepal's Himalayas. Beginning in Sudame with a steep walk up 3,200 steps, I will be hiking at altitude on five consecutive days along mountain ridges and over peaks to Kande.
As I do this, I'm asking for your support to help me reach my fundraising target of $10,000. I would be grateful for any contributions. You can read more about the trek, and find an easy way to donate, here: adarapoonhilltrek.raisely.com/andrewobrien
