Jen Le Marinel, an actuary from St James's Place Wealth Management, is taking a break for a massive personal challenge for charity.

She will be walking 1,200 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats from July to October, covering three countries, 60 OS explorer maps and four National Trails. She is aiming to finish in less than 100 days and raise £12,000 - £10 per mile.

She says: "I'm both excited and terrified! This will be a real challenge but I'm thrilled to be able to support some fantastic causes - all sponsorship and support will be gladly received and encourage me to keep going when my feet are aching and our summer throws its finest weather at me!" You can support Jen via: www.justgiving.com/JenLeMarinelLEJOG, subscribe to her blog, or help with accommodation en-route. Email: [email protected]
