Get ready for IFRS 17 event
10 July, Staple Inn Hall

To help IFoA members understand the International Accounting Standards Board's long awaited insurance contracts standard, IFRS 17, the IFoA's cross-practice Financial Reporting Group is hosting an event addressing questions such as 'What does IFRS 17 mean for the insurance industry?' and 'What do we need to do to prepare for IFRS 17 implementation?' Join our expert speakers, who will discuss the new standard that is set to fundamentally change insurers' profit reporting.

If you would like more information or to register, please check out our Get Ready for IFRS 17 event page at bit.ly/2rngIf4

Annual report

The 2016/2017 IFoA annual report and accounts are freely available to view online. Our work over the past year has moved us towards our goal of becoming a more dynamic, forward-thinking professional body, a profession that generates ideas that others listen to and talk about, and a 'go-to' body for other decisionmakers and influencers.

This has helped us to achieve our vision and supported the delivery of our recently refreshed strategy.
