IFoA Honorary Fellow election 2017: Now open

Each year, the IFoA invites eminent individuals who are experts in their respective fields to be put forward for election as Honorary Fellows.


Each year, the IFoA invites eminent individuals who are experts in their respective fields to be put forward for election as Honorary Fellows. 

The 2017 election process is currently open and is due to close at 23:59 on 18 May. The IFoA council has proposed the election of the following individuals as Honorary Fellows:

? Professor Aled Jones, director of the Global Sustainability Institute at Anglia Ruskin University

? Professor Donald MacKenzie, professor of sociology at the University of Edinburgh

? Professor Xiaolin Li, Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), Beijing 

? Lord Adair Turner, chairman of the Institute for New Economic Thinking 

? Professor Zhigang Xie, director of the Research Centre for Insurance and Actuarial Science at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE).


All IFoA Fellows, Associates and Honorary Fellows are entitled to vote. You will have received emails from IFoA president Colin Wilson and from Electoral Reform Services containing details of the election and how to cast your vote.
