Swim star, Chris Jones

2

Admiral's Chris Jones recently competed in the European Masters Championships for Swimming, which took place in the London Aquatics Centre, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, between 26 and 29 May. This was the largest European swimming event ever held and hosted approximately 10,000 swimmers aged 25-95 years from all European nations.

Chris had a very successful meet as the top-performing Brit in the 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke in the men's 35-39 category, coming away with a trio of silver medals. For the 100m and 200m races, he was marginally pipped to the post by French ex-Olympian Stéphan Perrot.

Chris, who is also a keen cyclist, is now working towards his next challenge of a full IronMan competition next year, having completed his first half IronMan in Majorca in May this year.
