Pensions and insurance professionals have been recognised in the Queens birthday honours list.

The recipients include civil servants and policy experts who have each been awarded an MBE.
Jane Vass, head of public policy at Age UK, was rewarded for her services to financial services consumers. She joined Age Concern England as a financial services policy adviser in 2006. Prior to that she was head of financial and economic research at Which?.
The chief executive of the Civil Service Retirement Fellowship (CSRF), Jean Cooper, was also recognised. She received the MBE for her work running the charity which helps retired civil servants.
Helen Dimmock, team leader, ageing society, Department for Work and Pensions, was given the honour for her services to older people and the community in London.
Public sector pensions expert Peter Hall from HM Treasury was recognised for his services to pensions policy.
And Philippa Brown, policy adviser on motor insurance at the Department for Transport, was honoured for her services to transport.
