MGM Advantage reaches for the skies in record attempt

Open-access content Tuesday 29th May 2012

Retirement income specialist MGM Advantage is looking to enter the official Guinness World Records by attempting the most tandem skydives in one day, in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.

30 MAY 2012 | THE ACTUARY TEAM

The current world record is 130 tandem jumps in one day - the company plans to get 180 people to jump.

The challenge has already signed up more than 120 people, who have each pledged to raise at least £300 each. Once 180 people have signed up, registration will automatically close.

MGM has secured the exclusive use of Brackley Airfield, near Oxford, for the attempt, which is being held on 5 July. The company is covering the cost of each jump and all donations will go to the Alzheimer's Society.

You can register for the jump at www.doitforcharity.com/mgmadvantage or make a donation at www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/mgmadvantage.

Updates on MGM Advantage's world record attempt can be found on Facebook www.facebook.com/mgmadvantage.
