Green joins Hymans Robertson team

Open-access content Thursday 10th May 2012 — updated 5.13pm, Wednesday 29th April 2020

Hymans Robertson have announced the appointment of qualified actuary Andy Green as a partner.

Mr Green, who became a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 1989, joins from Deloitte where he was a partner in the pension advisory business.

In his new role, he will lead a range of client teams and focus on delivering the highest quality possible of advice to the consultancy's clients.

According to Hymans Robertson, he will also be a key driver in developing the firm's advice across all clients, with a particular focus on liability-driven investments and supporting clients in taking a more active approach.

His role will also involve him playing a key role in the company's new business activities.

Mr Green said: 'Hymans Robertson places a high level of importance on providing a combination of bespoke advice and independent thinking to its clients, both of which I believe to be important features to succeed in these challenging markets conditions.

'I have been greatly impressed by the depth and experience of the investment team, and I am looking forward to contributing to the success that the firm is having in growing its business.'

John Dickson, partner and head of investment practice at Hymans Robertson, added: 'We are delighted that Andy, with all his skills and experience, is joining us. Andy's commitment to the highest quality independent advice to his clients is perfectly aligned with our approach. He is a fantastic addition to our senior team.'
