OAC actuaries set out on charity trail to raise Macmillan funds

Open-access content Tuesday 3rd April 2012 — updated 5.13pm, Wednesday 29th April 2020

A group of OAC actuaries and staff, and their friends and family, will be taking part in the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s Sarsen Trail on 6 May 2012 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

2

The group will complete a challenging 15-mile walk, which will take them across Salisbury Plain from Redhorn to Stonehenge.

The walk is expected to take around five hours and the OAC organisers are hoping the participants, of all age groups, have fun and successfully complete the challenge, raising as much money as possible for the charity.

Macmillan Cancer Support needs very little introduction. The charity touches so many lives with an invaluable range of support services to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
