Mapp finds his way to Punter Southall

Open-access content 15th February 2012

Punter Southall has announced the appointment of actuary Chris Mapp to head its business in Bristol and the West Country.

2

Mr Mapp has 30 years' experience in actuarial consulting and will lead the team in providing advice to employers and pension scheme trustees throughout the region on all aspects of pension provision and employee benefits.

Mr Mapp previously ran his own consulting business and has worked in senior insurance roles, including heading Bluefin's corporate consulting division in Bristol.

He said: "I know Punter Southall's direct, timely and cost-effective advice benefits our existing clients. We are confident we can do the same for other employers in the region. From auto-enrolment to de-risking, we can call on a broad range of skills to help trustees and businesses tackle the challenges they face."

Punter Southall chief executive John Batting said: "We've built our business on delivering results in long-term partnership with our clients. Chris can help us to continue this good work with his impressive record and strong relationships."
