Scott Reid takes senior role at Ageas Protect

Ageas Protect has announced the appointment of Scott Reid as head of pricing and reinsurance.

Mr Reid, pictured, has held previous roles at Aon Benfield, Scor, Gen Re, and Scottish Widows where he has gained in-depth actuarial and reinsurance experience.

He has also co-authored a number of papers and articles looking at the critical illness drivers of trends in mortality and morbidity.

Darren Spriggs, acting managing director of Ageas Protect, said Mr Reid's knowledge and experience would be invaluable to the firm.
