Barnett Waddingham has announced that six of its staff have recently become newly qualified actuaries, bringing the firms nationwide total of qualified actuaries to 100.
The firm's new Fellows of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries are Chris Ramsey from the London office, Jon Maude (Amersham), Mel Stephenson and Geoff Howard (Cheltenham), Scott McGarva (Glasgow), and Sarah Franklin (Bromsgrove).
Barnett Waddingham is also celebrating a 100% pass rate for its actuarial students taking the latest round of core applications (CA1) actuarial exams, which the firm noted compared with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries' average pass rate of 47%.
