On 17 November 2021 the Adjudication Panel considered an allegation of misconduct against Mr Rogaly (the respondent) relating to historic non-compliance with the CPD Scheme.
The panel found evidence that the respondent failed to comply with the requirements of the 2019/2020 CPD Scheme and did not fully engage with, and/or adequately respond to, communications from the IFoA on the matter.
The panel upheld that his actions were a breach of the compliance principle in the Actuaries’ Code (version 3.0) and determined that these allegations disclosed a prima facie case of misconduct.
In considering sanction, the panel considered all relevant information and was satisfied that the appropriate and proportionate sanction was a reprimand, a fine of £1,500 and a period of education, training or supervised practice.
