Sophia Heathcoat joins Cardano client team from P-Solve

Cardano has announced the appointment of Sophia Heathcoat as part of its client team.

Ms Heathcoat will manage client relationships and assist with all aspects of setting, implementing and monitoring investment strategy.

Before joining Cardano, Ms Heathcoat worked for three years as an investment adviser at P-Solve Asset Solutions, based in the Risk Management Solutions team, designing and implementing derivative strategies for UK pension schemes. Prior to this, she worked at Punter Southall’s actuarial consultancy.

Ms Heathcoat qualified as an actuary in 2010 and has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

"My new role is a broader one, but still allows me to use the technical knowledge I have built up over the years in areas like liability hedging and derivatives," she said.

Other appointments include Duncan Higgs from Towers Watson, Carl Jones from Mercer and Flora Summerfield from Aon Hewitt. This follows the recent appointments of Christopher Parkinson and Ben Cooper to the firm’s investment team.
