Ladies impress in Insurance Athletic Association run

On 15 September, 12 employees from SCOR and five other actuaries took part in the Insurance Athletic Association run in Battersea Park, London.

This is an annual race, usually six miles, but due to the closure of the Albert Bridge for renovations was shortened to five miles this year. The event is open to amateurs who are employed by insurance companies, therefore many of our clients — including overall winners L&G (aka Temple Bar) — were there.

Our teams fared very well, coming sixth and 13th out of 18 teams in the mixed race and joint first in the ladies’ race. Special mention goes to Rona Loubser from SCOR, who won the ladies’ race with a time of 30 minutes.
