I have a surprising ability to stay calm even when under extreme pressure.

Sleep — I get no less than 10 hours, every night.

What is most likely to irritate you about others?
Shouting on the phone on public transport.

Alternative career?
When I was younger I wanted to be part of a cabin crew, but I grew to hate flying, so that didn’t go far.

Tell us something unusual about yourself
I belly dance...

How do you relax away from the office?
Travelling, dancing and Facebook parties.

Do you have a famous look-a-like?
Chi Ling Lin and Lun Mei Gui.

Who would play you in a film?
Maggie Cheung — she is an amazing actress.

Best piece of advice you have ever been given?
I was advised never to share it.

What three items would you take to a desert island?
Compass, knife, medicine.

What is your greatest extravagance?
Designer handbags for my mum every time I go back home to China. She would probably send me back if I ever visited her without them!

Is the glass half full or half empty?
Half full, I’m always cheery.

What is the greatest risk you have ever taken?
I came to the UK at 15, with a basic level of English and no friends or family, and I survived to tell the story!
