Fireworks lunch at the Lord Mayor’s Show

At the end of the Lord Mayor’s Show on Saturday 8 November there will be a spectacular fireworks display starting at 5.00 pm, and launched by the new Lord Mayor from a barge moored on the river between Blackfriars and Waterloo Bridges.

Those present last year felt this was well worth seeing and so we have again booked a private room at Doggett’s Coat and Badge next to Blackfriars Bridge on the South Bank. This year, we will meet in the Doggett’s Bar at 2.30 pm for a curry buffet lunch at 3.00 pm, followed by the fireworks.

This event is open to all members of the profession. Tickets for the lunch are £15 each and friends and family members, including children, are welcome. Please reply by 29 October to John Harsant (at Newton House, Well Lane, Heswall, CH60 8NF) giving attendee details together with a cheque payable to the Worshipful Company of Actuaries. Capacity for the lunch is 100 people so please book early to avoid disappointment.
