On 4 April 2022 the Adjudication Panel considered an allegation of misconduct against Mr McLucas (the respondent).
The panel found evidence to support the allegation that he drove/used a motor vehicle on a road contrary to: section 5(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988; Part VI section 143 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988; and
section 87(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 to the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
The panel determined that the conduct was in breach of the principle of compliance in the Actuaries’ Code and disclosed a prima facie case of misconduct. It took into account all relevant information and was satisfied that the appropriate and proportionate sanction in this case was a reprimand.
