Call for Life Insurance and General Insurance volunteers

Would you like to join the The Actuary magazine’s editorial team?

Two features editor positions have emerged, providing successful applicants with the opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing development of the IFoA’s magazine.

One editor will oversee the field of General Insurance while the other will look after Life Insurance. Aside from your enthusiasm, you will need a thorough understanding of these areas and the ways in which they impact the actuarial profession. In addition to coming up with ideas for articles that will be of interest to our readership, you’ll need to be open to differing viewpoints, able to assess the quality and technical competency of submissions with a view to publication, have good attention to detail and be able to work to strict deadlines.
