Capita Hartshead adds two to investment consulting team

Brendan Coffey joins as senior investment consultant and Heena Desai has been appointed as associate consultant.

Both will be based in Capita Hartshead's London office and will report to Jillian Clark, who leads the investment consulting practice.

brendan-coffey-capita-hartsheadMr Coffey (pictured right) specialises in investments and derivatives and works with pension funds to help them manage and reduce their investment risk.He joins from HSBC Actuaries and Consultants/JLT where he provided a wide range of investment consultancy services, including investment strategy reviews, asset liability modelling, transition management and performance monitoring.

Mr Coffey was a member of the manager research team and has experience of working with both public and private sector pension schemes.

heena-desai-capita-hartsheadMs Desai (pictured left) moves across to investment consulting from Capita Hartshead's annuity team, having previously worked for PwC and Annuity Direct.

Her new role will involve advising trustees on AVC investments for schemes that are in wind-up, investment manager research and investment performance monitoring.

"Brendan and Heena will be valuable additions to the team and will put us on a firm footing for further growth in this area of consulting," said Sue Curley, consulting director.
