The Institute of Actuaries biennial dinner
The Institute of Actuaries biennial dinner is one of the flagship social events of the actuarial calendar. This year it takes place in the Royal Horticultural Halls in London on 22 June. It is an ideal opportunity for members to socialise with clients in a relaxed setting and/or treat their staff to a prestigious night out.

Health and care conference 2010
The Health and care conference, taking place at Celtic Manor, Newport from 12-14 May, is aimed at all who work in the key areas of personal protection insurance, critical illness, income protection, private medical insurance and long-term care.

Professionalism events for experienced actuaries
These popular interactive one-day seminars will be taking place in London on 20 May, Edinburgh on 8 June, London on 9 September and 9 December 2010. The CPD scheme requires nearly every actuary to attend a professionalism event every 10 years.

Current issues in pensions
This series is designed to provide a topical view of developments in pensions, aimed at qualified actuaries. The seminars, to be held at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on 9 March and the Royal College of Physicians, London on 31 March, are organised by the CPD committee of the Pensions Practice Executive Committee.
