Groupe Consultatif survey – risk-management practices

The board is taking the lead in responding to a comprehensive survey on risk-management practices in the financial organisations inside the EU by the Investment and Financial Risk (IFR) Committee of the Groupe Consultatif.

The objective of this study is to get an overview of the current situation concerning risk-management practices and legislation among the different financial industries in the EU. Actuaries are becoming more and more involved in risk management and we consider that it is in the best interests of the profession to be informed of the new developments in these fields.
